Paper Talk (Chiang Mai Uni Art Centre)

A copy of the book Very Thai was exhibited in this show of contemporary works on paper as what the artist called a“Thai artwork on paper” by an art professor at Chiang Mai University, Ajarn Kade Javanalikikorn. The show comprised works by lecturers from departments of printmaking, painting and sculpture, at the Faculty of Fine Arts, Chiang Mai University, Thailand. As a documentation of mundane artefacts of everyday Thai life, the book was displayed in the show in a mundane way, mounted standing upon a wall-mounted electricity fuse box, entitled ‘Paper on Electronic Box.’
