‘Creative Isan: How Somtam Got Hip’

I was invited to speak at the 1st Isan Food Festival, held in Khon Kaen in northeast Thailand by the people behind Globetrotting Gourmet, Robert Carmack and Morrison Polkinghorne. Along with sessions like insect food tastings, my talk about contemporary Isan culture was held at the Sofitel Raja Orchid, Khon Kaen.
